- EASY ONE-STEP TECHNIQUE FOR BLACK HAIR – Mix two tablespoons of Mehendi/Henna powder with water into a paste, then let it rest for 12 hours to create a brown base. Once that time passes, stir in four tablespoons of Indigo powder along with a splash of warm water. Spread the paste onto your hair and let it set for two to four hours. Rinse the hair completely using only water; do not use shampoo.
- TWO-STEP TECHNIQUE: A) For BLACK tones, start with a 100% henna application, then follow with a second application of 100% indigo (this is a two-step procedure). B) To create a REDDISH BROWN Colour , mix 75% henna with 25% indigo. C) To achieve a BROWN shade, combine equal amounts of 50% indigo and 50% henna. D) For a DARK BROWN result, blend 75% indigo with 25% henna.
