Tassyam white tea, fittingly named Shanti for its tranquil nature, is truly exceptional. Its leaves, covered in silver down, present a beautiful mixture of radiant white and natural, earthy tones. Upon brewing, the tea develops a soft, rose-gold colour. It features scents of dried apricot and a remarkably silky finish, all complemented by a light, citrus-sweet fragrance. For the best taste, steep 2g of the tea in 100-150ml of water heated to roughly 85C for about 4 minutes. Since this is loose leaf tea, you can steep it at least two times, providing a total of about 25 cups. Because teas are seasonal, their flavour profiles change-which is part of the charm!
